Well ... i wanted to go 'up' the coast a bit and Lizzie who is a friend of Roberts and who was over for a week from the UK wanted to see some sights too so we got up early and phoned a few car hire companies and went and collected our car and off we went!  We had no maps and all we really knew was that we wanted to go north!

So we started to drive ... and we finally managed to get out of the City and find the right road and off we went ... our first stop was at a fruit farm for some yummy and healthy snacks!!  And then we drove .. hmmm ... and drove ... and Lizzy talked .. and talked .. and talked ...

Our next stop was at the Nambung National Park to see the Pinnacles Desert which is where we saw some strange rock formations that look as though they are growning out of the ground ... hmmm more rocks and sand!

Then we continued our drive North ... and Lizzie kept talking ... and eventually we got to a town called Kalbarri and i went to bed for some peace and quiet.
