Taking a Break in Bled

We have found our way to Bled, Slovenia. It is a cute little town nestled in the Julian Alps. There is a lake here which the town is centered around. It is a small lake with a tiny little island in the middle which has a cute church. We might try to take a little boat to check it out tomorrow. We are enjoying the changing of the leaves and this pretty country.
I had no idea what Slovenia was going to be like. I have really enjoyed it though. It has amazing countryside and crystal clear water, even in the rivers. It reminds us of the Caribbean. Almost everyone here speaks English, all the generations. It's crazy and wonderful. We have had great accommodations. We are supposedly staying in hostels but they have been very clean and a lot nicer than some hotels we have stayed in before. Our stay here has been wonderful.
