October 6, 2005 Cesky Krumlov

Our plane tickets came yesterday and we have said our goodbyes to the lovely Hallstatt. We spent the day on the train trying to get less than a hundred miles away. It was a bit frustrating, but that is just how it goes when you don't have a car at your luxury. We made it to the Czech Republic and are enjoying the inexpensive side of things. We had a great dinner for very cheap and roamed around the streets of this town trying to get acquainted with the city and the Czech way of life.

We have been able to catch a glimpse of CNN. We are keeping our eyes open for the troubles going on in the world around us, and are being as safe and smart as we know how. So don't worry about us too much. So far the world has been very welcoming to us. People have thought we were from Australia, Denmark, Germany, and of course the accurate guess of America. We are staying away from the bird flu and have been happy, healthy, and doing well.

We'll let you know more about Cesky Krumlov as we explore the town. We're just here for a day or so and then we head to Prague. Talk to you soon.

More beautiful photos
Keep up the great photography! Your photos are amazing and really tell the tale of your journey. I can almost smell that fish... When you get home to Indy, you will have to have a big house with lots of walls on which to display them!

We love & miss you guys,
Dianne (and Bo)
