Thank you to everyone who has supported my fantastic adventure.  You've been incredibly generous with your donations, offers of accommodation, joining me for walks and messages of support.  You've brought lots of smiles too!  With your help I covered over 1100 miles in just 69 days of walking - that's one less than the original plan!

Good luck to everyone I met along the way walking, cycling and running on their own adventures.  Hope to see you on the trail again in the future!  A huge congratulations to Jane who I met in Teesdale "going the other way".  By coincidence we finished the same day at opposite ends of the country!

Most of all I must thank my long-suffering parents because without their help I would have not been able to go anywhere, not least because I wouldn't have had any maps!  Thanks Mum and Dad for everything.

That's brilliant Charlie! I'm travelling to cornwall this weekend which prompted me to check on your walk - I recalled you were picking it up again this summer only to find you'd already finished ages ago..Well done!!!

what a fantastic achievement Charlie completing the lejog. We met you at Rowardennen Youth Hostel and you inspired us with your drive to keep moving forward despite your blisters and the injury to your foot. I am one of the women from Guiseley who are walking lejog in sections. We have arrived at Crowden in 26 days and will complete the rest of the walk next year (one of the team still works.....)It is a fantatsic route isn't it ?and such a great experience walking across the country. Very well done to you and enjoy the rest of thelife'sjourney (what ever that will be). Sue
