Had a lay in this morning, didn't get up until 7.00am, getting a lazy git, it's all this hardcore sleeping in cabins and other people's houses.. it's tough but we will keep it up as long as we can stand it!

Had a hearty breakfast of bread and cheese and I finished off the cake from last night, well you have to keep your sugar levels up and Tolle's cousin insisted...

Johann informed me that I might want to put all my wet weather gear today, doesn't sound good! I mean the sun is shining brightly this morning, does he know something I don't?...

Anyway, I did as instructed and we set off for the Artic Circle first for the obligatory photo and then set off for Karesunda on the Finnish border...

When the Swedes do roadworks, boy do they do it in style... no traffic lights, just a man with a red flag and none of this tarmac one side so traffic can use it, no, they just take off all the tarmac for 20 kilometres, throw gravel on it and roll it!!!... i have to say that the two Tigers did well with road tyres on wet gravel but then they are both from Sweden and gravel roads are the norm. Got to practice being Charlie Boorman and standing on pegs and letting the bike go where it wanted...cool and it had started to rain again.. Johann can I have another word...

Finally arrived in Karesunda and as it was raining just for a change so we got a 4 berth cabin and after dumping the gear, went to the local supermarket for supplies.

Not only was it still raining but the mossies up here are twice the size of the ones down south and twice as annoying, it was time to bring out the chemicals and hat.. how do you have a beer and a smoke through a net, answers on a postcard please..
