After six days cycling I have arrived safely in Birmingham. I have now had two days of taking it easy and looking forward to hitting the road again tomorrow.

The hills in Cornwall and Devon were tough, very tough. How do they fit so many little hills into such a short distance? The topography became more rolling from Somerset on.

So far I've camped, and stayed in both hostels and hotels. I've also meet some interesting people en route.

I am hoping to be in Edinburgh by next weekend all going well. I feel reasonably confident I can manage 100km per day from here on.
