Well, we finally made it off Utila and as far as the ferry would take us - about 18 miles. Not a lot to say about La Ceiba as we only stayed a night whilst in transit. Its your typical Central American town, a bit rough around the edges with a nice central park where most of the towns activity cracks off. Ravished by our slog across the sea, we set rather ashamedly into a Pizza Hut (fast food chains here are ridiculously common) and soon realised we had ordered way too much. Still, ever the ingenius couple, we get a doggy bag and have breakfast sorted!

A quick note about the hostel - it was actually really nice compared to the standard here. Clean beds, good fan and free internet. Its just a shame that a) they spoke no english meaning it took a good half hour to establish we wanted a room and b) its in a town that no-one visits for longer than a night.
