Well, I deleted my first post on accident. I'm an idiot. Here is the gist of what it said:

Yesterday, I started getting really sick, which is perfect timing for my trip. Despite this, I was extremely productive at making a cake for work, doing laundry and pretending to invest time into packing. I have it in my mind that I am going to pack as little as possible for this trip. Based off just the pile of shirts I had, I was clearly a filthy liar.

Jump forward to today. Erin came over and helped me see reason (for the most part). It is obviously not necessary to pack three of the exact same color shirt for this trip. It took me longer consideration than it should have to put two of them away. However, I disagree with her on my need for an entire box of bandaids. You just never know when 57 bandaids are going to be your savior. So the entire box got packed. I'd say I'm about 80% packed and still a solid 87% insane, so doing good.

My lovely viral sinus infection is going to make me friends on the planes. I just know it will. Plus my approachable demeanor when I am sleeping or waking up. I can't wait to meet the lucky winner of Seat Next To Catherine, God save them.

As far as my itinerary goes, here is a rough outline:

Ap 23-Leave
Ap 24-Arrive in Nuremberg
Ap 26-Prague
Ap 29-Countryside in Czech, staying in a chateau, MY BIRTHDAY
May1-back to Nuremberg
May3-Pfaffenhofen for my mother, on the hunt for yarn, because I love her
May3-Train to Geneva
May6-Lisbon
May6-13 Lisbon to Barcelona, a car ride
May13-back to Nuremberg
May14-Transatlantic nap

There is s 6 hour time difference between Elkton, MD and Germany, Czech, Switzerland, and Geneva. There is a 5 hour difference between MD and Portugal. Christopher, I'll try to remember you are 9 and 8 hours, respectively.

I will update when I arrive in Germany!

Love,
Catherine, Missy P, Child, Bubbie, Spouse, Snookiepoof, Baby Poodle

PS- I'm not going to explain any of those nicknames
