As I am preparing for my departure from the United States, I am developing a few nerves. This is my first travel that will last longer than two weeks. As many of you know I enjoy working (probably too much), so this will definitely be quite a change not working. We will see how I adjust. :)

Although, the first 8 weeks I am somehow going to be participating in an online course that is a requirement for one of the endorsements that I am getting. It should be interesting. Otherwise my "work" will consist of studying Spanish, walking around communicating with locals, and learning more about the Mexican culture.

My first destination will be Puerto Vallarta. This is where I fly in to. I do not assume I will spend much time there, if any. I have already been to PV and will be very anxious to head south to Michoacan. So I probably will be leaving PV the day I get there or the following day.

I will be traveling by foot and bus. As for luxurious overnight stay I will primarily be staying in hostels and possibly staying with various families that I meet and know along the way.

For now I do not have a plan to my itinerary, so todo es posible. I will keep you posted as to where I am as much as I can.
