We drove for about an hour and pulled into Camping World for 11 am appointment to have some tires put on the trailer.  After about an hour in the shop these guys realize they ordered us the wrong size tire (and accepted no blame for doing so). I won't bore you with the details. The fact is, because of their error we were forced to have to stay here in the parking lot another night while they got the correct tires sent over. They have electric here and a dump station so we were pretty comfortable and made the best of it even though it cost us a day. (We had planned on being part way through South Dakota today.) We did some grocery shopping and rented a couple of movies.

The next day....first thing in the morning I pulled into the shop for the tire service. Turns out these guys had ordered me a lesser tire (LT Series made for light trucks I think). Although, load rating wise, it is OK to use these tires, I was bummed because they aren't an equal tire to the ones I'm replacing. I could have pulled into any RV service center and had these things put on. Basically, we had gone out of our way for nothing. Lesson learned. We weren't given any compensation for the screw up and, as a matter of fact, after getting the bill I realized I was charged more than the original quoted price....for a shittier tire! I'm going to have to write a letter.

note: I've noticed in the past that some Camping Worlds will have some hook ups and overnight parking but I had never partook. From now on, I will start to take advantage of this when I can.

PS. Anyone ever see a Denny's that looks like this?

I had my motor home and diesel gene. Serviced at their store in Little Rock last week. Not only did it take all day but they broke off the tip of the dip stick on the generator. And "YES"' They accepted NO responsibility for it. Ed
