I got up early to hike this trail before we had to check out of our site at 11:00am. I had to drive about 20 minutes out from Bryce to Cannonville then take a dirt road back in 6 miles to the trail head. It was an easy couple hour hike up into this slot canyon. This small creek, over I don't know how many thousands of years, has cut this deep slot into the earth. Maybe 50' or so deep. Pretty cool. Check the pics and vid.
We got out of Bryce around 1:00 and headed out the 89 past Lake Powell. We checked out another slot canyon tour in that area but they were trying to get us for around $100 (for the 3 of us) for a 1-1/2 hour trek through this canyon so we passed and pushed on to Farmington, New Mexico, where we found a Walmart parking lot to stay the night. We drove until 8:30 and put a lot of miles behind us today. We'll head to Taos in the morning to check that out.
