Disneyland was Disneyland. I wasn't real excited about going but Vonnie and, especially, Violet were pretty hyped about it. The parks closed early on Thursday because high school grad parties are held there after hours. I'm assuming that for this reason it was not crowded at all. We had very little waits for any of the rides so we went on plenty of them that day. No firework show that night so we were back to the trailer early to get it all hooked up and situated. We left Chula inside for around 7 hours! She was fine, of course, but very excited to see us. We hung out at the pool for a bit. Vonnie did a large stack of laundry while her and Vi swam and had a soak in the hot tub. I lounged poolside with a couple of beers.

We got a later start on Friday for our 2nd day at the parks. The girls jumped on the shuttle around 11:00 but the park is less than 2 miles away so I rode my bike. It was pretty crowded inside but we still went on lots of rides with some planning and using the fastpasses. I rode my bike back to the trailer and checked on the pets and lounged for a couple hours, then pedaled back to the Disney to meet Vonnie and Vi for the firework show. This pyrotechnics show still goes down as the best I've ever seen by far. It goes on pretty long (longer than any I've ever seen) and is choreographed to music. Pretty cool. We were back to the trailer by 10:30.

It's Saturday morning and our plan is to check out and head to my buddy, Mike's, house in Fontana for the night. Mike is boasting about some famous BBQ tri tip that he is going to do up! I told him I'll give it a try. Ha. He says he'll take me to the local skatepark too. Can't wait. Sunday we are planning to head back toward the coast and meet up with some friends in Laguna and

For the record:

This RV park is pretty nice, well maintained and located real close to Disneyland. All the sites are roomy (for an inter-city park) and real level pads. The wi-fi is free and fast too. I actually just got done streaming the last 2 episodes of Lost via Hulu (finally I can get on with my life)! Unfortunately it's really expensive to stay here (close to $70 per night, it costs us, for full hookups) and you still would have to buy a daily shuttle pass ($4 per person per day).
