What a nice first of April 2006... On my way from Bangkok to Bali I had a stopover in Singapore and for some foolish reason I missed my connection flight which resulted in a crazy night at the Singapore Airport Terminal 2. But I have to admit Singapore Airport is definitely not the worst place for this to happen as there is free Internet, a free movie cinema, 24h shops and food and plenty of tv lounge areas. If that's not enough there is a massage place, a fitness center and a swimming pool available for some pay. But well anyway I felt like Tom Hanks in Terminal as people started recognizing me walking by and the lady at the desk was not very helpful at the beginning as she wanted me to pay rebooking fee just to put me on standby although todays flights were full! After a while I got the flight for today morning confirmed though and here I am now in Bali!
