Today Uncle Vince and Aunt Jess went to work and the babysitter Tori came back over.  Aunt Jess wanted her to take us to the California Academy of Sciences and the day before Noah (Aunt Jess's cousin) said he would meet up with us since he lives near there.  When we got there the first thing that Ella wanted to see was the aquarium.  It was the coolest thing I had ever seen! There were so many different fish, and crabs, and plants it was crazy!  The coolest part was the jelly fish that changed color! ( I uploaded a video but it takes about thirty seconds before they actually start to change color!- don't worry you will know when they are changing color!)  While we were in the aquarium we meet up with Noah and his daughter Clementine. Then we went into the rain forest with them. It was really hot and I felt like I was back in Virginia!  There were butterflies flying around everywhere! It was really cool. At the end they had to check your back for butterflies. I thought that was funny!  We also saw penguins, and an albino alligator!!  Then we went into the planetarium IMAX theater and saw a really neat video about earth and life and the stars and planets. (Dad, I really think you would have liked that!) ! At the end we went to the snakes and lizards exhibit and saw lots of interesting things in there. On our way home Aunt Jess meet up with us at Ella and Stosh's old preschool because she had to get stosh's scrapbook portfolio thing.  It was a fun day!

Hi Claire,

Wow! Those pictures of the acquarium are terrific. Did you take them with your camera? I feel (and I wish) as if I were right there myself. You are having such a great time seeing so much of what California has to offer. Every day there seems like so much fun.

I actually took the pictures with my ipod touch. It has a camera on it and it takes better pictures than my camera!

Claire, I am so happy you got to go to the California Academy of Sciences; I really enjoyed the day Aunt Jessica and I spent there. The rainforest is beautifully done, and the aquarium is quite extensive. We did not go to the Imax; glad you did. Did you happen to get up to the roof?

See you soon!!!

Love,
Nonna
