G'day guys

Another busy week. It was a long weekend. Friday night I had friends come over.
We had drinks and played board games, how fun!!! Even better after a few drinks.
My friend from Montenegro was here and wanted to drink. We ended up at the local pub to 2:00am. I was about to call a cab home, when the 'rage' bus pulled up with a 20 year old hippie with a beard and loud music. He ended up giving us a lift back home! Yay we did not have to pay for a taxi. A few punters came back to ours and we continued drinking.
Woke up the next day, I was looking after my roommates dog, so I had to take her out for a walk.
I didn't realise I was still a little pissed. I couldn't find the lead so I used a shoe lace. Ha ha.
I was off to meet my parentols at the farmers market. I'm lucky I actually made it there.
I was so exhausted by the time we got there. Had to sit down for a bit. Ha ha.
The remainder of the day was uneventful. I stayed with mum and dad in their hotel room and watched the Kardashians! Ha ha Jordan! I was never allowed to watch that with Jordan.
Also, we have no TV. So it was good to watch!

The next day we were off to the Maine Black Bears ice hockey game.
UMaine is 17th in the category one sport. There are over 100 ice hockey teams in this category.
There are two ice hockey categories for university in America, so the competition is pretty fierce and Maine has a really great team. It was so fun and exciting. There is a band and a whole section of cheerers who dance and sing. The whole crowd was getting involved. The national anthem gets played and everyone stands and puts their hands on their hearts. The game was great.
So quick and a few fights. Very fun! There were five guys with no shirts on, they had painted each letter on their chests M A I N E. Every time Maine scored they would run around the stadium.
Very entertaining. Very American.

During the week I have concentrated on school, trying to get things finished! I
needed to drop a unit, as I had no organic chemistry background. The class was unsuitable! This was quite annoying because why did they let me in the class in the first place. Not to worry, school will be easier now! One less thing to worry about. Also, no one told me the pass grade here is over 70!!
So it was too risky to keep that class, if I was not sure I would pass.

I have also been having lovely meals at mum and dads of cheese, grapes, bagels and cupcakes.

The weather has been quite rainy, so it's a pain getting to school. It's also getting quite cold.
Starting to wear big winter jackets and gloves.
I bought the most beautifulest pair of brown leather gloves. They are vintage gloves and I got them for $6. What a bargain. I usually go into this vintage store once per a week. There is always something funky and new (she travels all around America to find cool vintage clothing, hats and gloves).

Wednesday was my usual horse riding lesson. Always a blast. I needed to get Vincent from the paddock and he kept running away from me. I finally got him after some stalking games. They are tricky to get sometimes. Had a lovely ride. I can't wait until it snows. Walking up to the paddock will be cold but beautiful!!

Thursday my room mate Judd was hosting a Ski movie. Professional skiers were attending the event. There was about 150 people watching the movie at the university theater. The skiers travel all around the world and its sorta like tension (surfing stunt videos) from back home. They care called 'Meatheads' or youtube 'ski the east'. But this is what the Mainers do. It was amazing! Really cool. There was a band playing before and then everyone came back to out place and partyed.
We stayed up till 4 am!

Friday- Jordan arriving home !!!!!!
I had university in the morning, hung over like no ones business. Met mum and dad for a pub lunch. Thank god- needed some salty chips! Than I had an international student meeting and event.
I went back to Mum and Dads to wait at the hotel and then was planning to meet Jordan at 7pm.
I had not heard from Jordan- only that his bus was held up.
It was pouring down with rain. Dad and I walked to meet Jordan at the bus stop at 7pm. The bus rolled in at 7:20pm and Jordan looked tiered as! We got in a cab and went home.
Jordan unpacked and told me all his funny stories. I wish I could have gone to Canada!!!! He sounds like he had the best time ever!
We ordered Thai and it was an early night.
So nice to finally have Jordan home!!

Today mum and dad are off to the football. They got Jordan a ticket, but as we speak he is asleep.
Looks like he will not be going. Today I am off to New Hampshire with the dressage girls.
We are staying for one night for show and returning tomorrow night.
I am not showing, but helping and watching as I have never been to one before.

Other news is that my brother has announced he is coming over.
I am meeting him in a hostel in NY on 11 November and than he is flying back here with me for a week or so and than he is off to Florida! So exciting.

Mum and dad leave Thursday :(. So that will be pretty sad. Jordan will leave 3 weeks after that!
Time is going so quickly here.

Missing everyone.
Missing Eski and Tarj!!!!!!!
