I am home! It only took me about 16 hours...no big deal?  I went to Rome on Tuesday night with Jenna my next door neighbor for the evening.  We took the train which was absolutely hilarious because we had three giant bags each!  Our hotel turned out to be right on the water which was so nice and it actually reminded us of an American hotel.  It had American TV! We went to dinner and had pizza and wine one last time together and then just came back and fell right asleep.  The next morning we left our hotel at about 7 am and I got to the check in counter before it even opened:) (I did not want to miss my flight!) It was so funny to watch me check in because I had to move my suitcases around like 50 times so that they would be equal weight.  Every Italian in line was definitely giving me the evil eye.  After that I had to sit and wait for my plane for about 2 hours and I met this guy who works for the department of defense and talked to him for awhile so it made the time pass.  Then I got on the plane and was off the Philadelphia!  I slept a bit on the plane but I mostly just watched the movies they have for you.  I switched planes in Philadelphia but not before eating a Philly cheese steak! I got home and I have never been that excited to see SeaTac.  Seeing my parents was so amazing and Lindsey my best friend came out to see me too!
So I have been at home for a couple of days and I am still trying to work on adjusting to the time change.  I miss everyone in Florence so much.  I haven't gotten to talk to them because they are in Tunisia for Christmas.  I know they are having a great time and I am so happy to be home and share my experiences with my family and friends.  My parents threw me a surprise birthday/welcome home party and all my high school friends came! It was so good to see everyone.  Being home has also shown me that even though it is hard to share my experiences with other people who have not done the same thing, it was so worth every minute and something that I will never forget.  I read back over all my entries and I am shocked to see how much I have done.  Thanks for everyone who read this, I spent way to much time on this semester so I am glad someone enjoyed it!
Ciao! Ciao! (your favorite world traveler)
