My uncle and I arrived at Monterey Bay around 7 PM.  We checked into the Hilton Garden Suites and rushed off to Cannery Road.  We walked around the shops and looked for places to eat dinner.  I bought a zip-up sweater from a store called: Aftershock; turns out that my purchase receipt was good for 10% off at Louie Linguini, a nearby seafood pasta restaurant.  Remembering that I did not get much of my pasta fill from missing out my eggplant parmiagna a few nights before, I opted that we get pasta again and this time, I will have a chance to actually eat it :)

Cannery Row was a nice stroll with a scene of the coast.  I would like very much to go back there.

Hey! That is a Steinbeck book (the title as well as what the book is about)! I just recently finished reading it. Tell me more about it, I'd love to walk through it one of these days!
