Today was our last day together in the Netherlands, and it was a day of sightseeing and learning more about Dutch history and the never-ending struggle against the sea.

Our first stop was at the Deltawerken, which blocks one of the seaways leading up into the islands of Zeeland. We all climbed an observation tower that was there, to have a look around. It was EXTREMELY windy up on top.

Now we know why the Dutch people built all of those windmills.
