 We did a nature walk on the plain we could see from Vereker Lookout a couple of days ago where we observed a flock of emus, only the second time we've seen them in the wild. We spent the afternoon on a nearly deserted beach enjoying a swim. 
 Tomorrow we move to the Dandenong Ranges for 4 ½ weeks. It has been a wonderful, restful sojourn.
