The day started slow as we were not in a hurray - 2 days before fishing begins.  We checked out the University of Montana campus and then a shopping mall.  Yes, shopping malls are all the same.  Fun to see the campus.  Then we hit the road again.  All the way to Florence, MT, about 20 miles.  We found a great little cafe -Glen's, has been there for 39 years- for lunch that included rhubarb pie for Charlie -his favorite- and lemon pie for Bev.  We might just be on a quest for the best pie, a nice follow up to the best sticky bun last year.

We stopped in Hamilton to check out the town and ended up at the city library to see if they wanted a set of Will James books.  We left instructions and hope that they will follow up with us.  Then on to Darby - a great little town.  We visited what may be the most beautiful library, per capita, in the world.

We also asked if they would like some Will James books and left instructions for initiating a request.  Also stopped at the local cowboy hat maker's shop.  Then on the road to tonight's lodging not being sure where that might be.  We stopped along the way to check out a couple of very nice places but proceeded onto the village of Wisdom, less than 100 people.

The weather today has been mixed with some sun, rain and snow and temps in the 20's to 40's.

Hope you enjoyed the pies/ Did you order a new hat? Will I need one for Elko? Maybe a hat and gunbelt might come in handy.
Sounds like a great trip so far. Hope the fishing is half as good.
