We attended church in Clayton, Georgia at St. Helena Catholic Church.  The priest was very personable and bantered with some students from the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Preparatory School.  They were from Germany, Mexico, California, and Hiawassee.

After lunch, we went to Black Rock Mountain State Park.  It was closed due to snow.  Oh, no!  What to do?  I saw a sign for Black Rock Lake and remembered there was a trail around the lake, so we went there.  We went around the lake twice for a total of 1.7 miles.  It was the best we could do.

We went back to our condo and decided to hike to Mud Creek Falls which is on the property of the Sky Valley Resort.  This is a 60 foot cascading waterfall.  There was a snow-covered trail next to Mud Creek which we followed.  We hiked a total of 1 1/2 miles here.
