It is our last day at Glacier.  Linda and I parked at the John's Lake Trailhead and hiked a short distance to John's Lake.  We continued on our hike to John's Lake Loop Trail which took us along McDonald Creek, Sacred Dancing Cascade and McDonald Falls.  This was really a very scenic trail, cool and shaded, and relaxing.  It was 3 miles round trip.  There were benches provided along McDonald Creek.

We drove west on the Going-to-the-Sun Road and found a beautiful overlook of Lake McDonald.  It was here we sat and ate our lunch.

We continued driving in the car and drove to the Rocky Point Trailhead.   Part of the road was one lane and dirt.  There were no bathroom facilities at the trailhead.  Linda and I hiked to a nearby campground and found facilities there.  It was a 2.2 mile round trip to Rocky Point which overlooks Lake McDonald.

We left the park early to begin our packing for the return flight home.  We stopped at a scrapbooking store and then ice cream at Dairy Queen.

Linda is now about #20 in her steps program.
