Why does it seem to rain when we travel? Again, a rainy day, but that does not stop us. I loved this island. It has retained its character - casual, relaxed, natural, small towns, quaint shops, old churches and cemeteries, rolling farms. We stopped at fruit and vegetable stands, cheese stores and, of course, a chocolate shop. We can never resist chocolate. We ate lunch at Cafe Bistro de la Plage. It was here we ate poutine, french fries with brown gravy and cheddar cheese. It was OK, but we had to try it. I wondered if it would be a hit in the US.
