Up early again today, watched the boat come in to dock what beautiful scenery, took a few photos of papeeta on the way in. Then went back to the cabin to wake the girls up so we could go and have a look at the town. So we were up and off to look and as soon as we went out the gates we were inundated with Tahitians wanting to sell us tours for Moreea, so once we escaped them we went over the road to the shops and markets, well they are really expensive and we had a lot of difficulty sorting out the money as they use franc's and because we weren’t 100% sure of the exchange and value, I went to an ATM withdrew 1000 franc’s then went and bought slushys for the kids and they cost 750 franc’s so didn’t get much for that withdrawal. Oh well whats money for lol.

Then we went back to the ship as everything on this island is expensive, we went to a pearl shop and there was some really lovely jewelry but expensive $5000

. For a 1 pearl and gold setting. When it doesn’t look any better than some of the ones out on the street markets which is also a rip off. Well they rip the tourist off as most of us have no idea about the money and take the word of the shop keepers.

Anyway we went back to ship to get organised to go on our 4wd island tour, and what a wonderful day John really missed out on a great day. We seen some really nice waterfalls, and the mountains are so high, they are volcano’s of course but  very domant lol. The last eruption was over 1000 years ago. We drove to the waterfalls and then to a lagoon to swim in, but wasn’t long enough to swim we were in there for over an hour. The waterfall we seen is where marlan brando met and proposed to his wife.

 The driver though speeds through the streets was great with the kids, he was jumping off the edge of the small cliff and he asked if shane wanted to jump but no way shane was going to do it, lol he is scared of heights lol Chloe wanted to do it lol. But its only for the boys. What a great time we all had.

Then it was time to go back to the ship, it was a great tour. On the way back we seen a lovely sunset.
