I'm booked on a bus to Banff this afternoon at 1.30pm.  Thank God, Calgary is an awful place.  Can't wait to leave, woud not recommend anyone to visit here at all!

Hoping to join a tour when I get to Banff which will take me round Banff and Jasper so I will see the Rockies which I am really looking forward too.

Hoping the weather will improve as well, it's been cloudy the last two days.  All in all pretty miserable- oh well onwards and upwards. It couldn't get worse than here!

Hey Carol

The Calgary Tourist Board called and left a message.
They want to hire you.

remember to mind your language now, Jan's dad is following your adventures.

Evan has his first set of pants, featuring Buzz and Woody from Toy Story.( He loves Woody because he his on his night-time nappies). His new bed time ritual is to put on all 7 pairs (on top of his PJ trousers),do a little dance, and take them all off again. Its certainly an improvement on making me wear the "nappy hat" (Jan's shower cap).

Its been a bit mental seeing all the sights from SA during the World Cup coverage knowing you;ve been there and knowing what the reality is behind that shiny new stadium at Cape Town.

Keep it up

xx

Hey Carol,

I'v enjoyed keep up with your fantastic travelling tales. You are really good at describing your experinces, I've enjoyed reading them so much! Maybe you should take a course in Journalism when you get back. You'd make a great travel writer! I enjoyed your blog of Cape Town emensley. Especially your time spent in the Township school and the frienships that you built- with the children really touched me. It must ahve been a real culture shock, it sounds however that you overcame that and started to build some ground with one or two of the children that were there to learn. Hat off to you lady, thats's you've done more than I did in a year of travelling around in terms of getting something really worthwhile out of youe time (I'll know that you now what I nean by that). Anyhow life in Jersey is much the same. We are having a nice summer so far with the temp around 25 degrees at the mo. Lizzie is fine nad growing up so very fast. She enjoys watching the World Cup and likes to shout GOAL when one is scored. Wel I'll sign off for now & can't wait top see your read next blog.
Miss you more than words can say. Love Sammie.xx
