We went to the Cotswolds for the day, starting with Chipping Camden, which is a beautiful town. Thankfully it had warmed up following our day in Birmingham and was a slightly warmer 2 degrees!

We mooched about the main street, looking in as many shops as possible, while Rachel's Dad impatiently waited outside! Lunch was in a lovely little tea room before heading on to Broadway.

Our first stop at Broadway was the sweet shop, where the lollies are put in a paper cone, and it was difficult to make a decision as there were rows of glass jars full of lollies to choose from. I finally settled on some cinder toffee and a sugar mice - which I won't be eating but I had to have as I saw them once on a Catherine Cookson movie!

Our last stop of the day was the Christmas shop on Broadway, where I bought some decorations to put on the tree next year!
