Last night we visited Patpong Night Market. Slightly over rated - but glad we went all the same! Lots of people asking us if we wanted to see Ping Pong Shows or Go Go girl shows!!!! You can probably guess what the ping pong shows are! We didn't see one - phew!
The market had loads of dodgy designer bags, t-shirts, etc. A load of crap really - but there was a buzzing atmosphere and it was cool to stroll about and Lou popped a sneaky look into the dodgy bars while I wasn't looking!!!!!

Today we went to the Floating Market, which we really enjoyed! Again, they sell lots of tourist tat, but it was definately worth the experience to barter for fruit, etc.
We met a really nice Kiwi girl, who is travelling alone and is going to email us with tips on Chiang Mai as she is going there before us!
In he afternoon, we ended up at a zoo seeing elephant and crocodile shows!!! It wasn't quite what we expected, we thought we were of too an elephant sanctuary - not a zoo!! But hey ho - you win some, you loose some - and the shows were quite funny! Even though I'm not sure I agree with the elephants been kept in the zoo and used as such entertainment value! They were playing football and all sorts!

Tomorrow we are up early doors to catch a bus to Ko Chang. Well a bus and then a boat. It will probably be the best part of the whole day travelling - but we are both looking forward to getting out of the smoggy city now!

Bankok is a fab place - but my throat has been killing me with all the fumes! I thought LOndon was polluted - but we've probably breathed in more fumes in the past fews days than we have in a lifetime in London!!

So an early night for us tonight! We just met a guy from High Wycombe on our tour bus - so may go for a few drinks with him before heading back for an early night. Our bus leaves the Khao San Rd at 7.30am tomorrow so we'll need to be up by 6am! Great!

Happy Honeymoon Mr and Mrs Grippo
Glad you got to the floating market and that you didnt loose Lou in Patpong! Hope youve got to Koh Chang safe and sound. I knew youd meet lots of people when you started travelling - its great to hear about places to go and stay that are recommended by people along the way.
Shame about the zoo - atleast you know to steer clear of animal attractractions in the future.
Take care & have fun relaxing in Koh Chang!
