Trip End

Suddenly, it's almost the end of the trip...and I haven't done nearly enough shopping *cough*...
Slovenia's capital though is a great place to wind down and has a thriving cafe/bar culture, which would have been plain rude to ignore. Suffice to say, not too many photos from my camera as I wisely left it at the hotel. There are some photos floating around of the walk home, which hopefully will not surface! (and I mean that purely for Annette and Sue's sakes ;-)
We found (well, Annette told us about) a great bar that is right on the canal, sort of under the bridge. We were really chuffed (although the blank look on our faces was a dead giveaway) when the waitress came up to us and started her spiel in Slovenian, so we mustn't have looked too much like tourists. Thankfully she took our dumb incomprehension to mean that we spoke English, and switched languages.
