Gem and i arrived in Coff's Harbour feeling very adventurous, so the first thing we did was book to go White Water Rafting for the next day. We travelled to the top of the River Nimboidan and spent the next 4 hours trying desperately not too fall out of the raft and into the rapids beneath! It was so much fun, 6 of us in the raft plus an instructor yelling at us the whole time - left! Right! Down! etc etc, it was a close call at some points but we all reached the other side and only got out of the raft intentionally for the odd swim. It was great in places along the river to lie back and let the rapids carry us along through the beautiful forests and scenery - quite a bit of wildlife spotting was done and we all also jumped off a massive rock into the rapids - woo hoo!
We followed this up the following day with a great horse ride through some forests, which was lush - not quite Myella's gorgeous outback scenery, but we had a few good canters through the trees, which absolutely nothing can top. Then, on with the sporting theme we decided to join Andy and Cheds, who arrived just after us in Coff's, with some canoeing. So the 2 guys sped off upstream, all competitive about the whole thing, while Gem and i leisurely (cant spell that) paddled a little way upstream, then let the current take us back to the start! Well, we had done a lot the last couple of days, it was time for a break.....
