Now comes the troubling problem of trying to sum up the absolutely awesome time I had in Munich. The first day was challenge trying to orient myself.  It was just familiar enough to get myself in trouble. Once I figured it all out I was getting into relax mode.
I was able to waste and enjoy a lot of time in the Englischer Garten and Marienplatz area. The pedestrian only area makes it a much nicer experience.  Sure there were a lot of people but there were not too many for me plus I was able to wander as I chose. The people of Bavaria are much more likely to be friendly with you than Berliners. Not that Berliners were unfriendly, just Bavarians that much more.
Also the history and stuff is more to my taste, Baroque and Hapsburg/Wittelsbach.  I guess Munich wins the battle of the two cities. In fact, I would say that Munich is pushing  London  for  my favorite city in the world. I now have way too many pictures to sort and post.  Look for them someday.
