Not a lot to tell here but it was a quick trip back to see Mom just before Christmas. What all can you say. It was a good time to be able to see Mom and my brother and his family.
I didn't get out much. I did take a walk with Mom over to 7/11. Oh thank heaven. But walking about reminded me just how much I remember growing up there but at this point I don't think I could move back there. It is what I remember but not where I want to live any more.
I like that there are old comfortable houses and area still to be found. But it is really strange to see the plots of new development that just appear out of nowhere. You can still see moss growing in the winter and green on the cement.
Well that was about it. The redeye home was not fun but I was able to sleep. I really like that on some DL/NW flights you can select the exit row seats ahead of time. So I was able to score the entrance seat exit row. And my neighbor did not show.
