Second and last stop in Kusadasi, Turkey. Saw the ruins of Ephesus which are very very old. And fairly intact. It was sooooo old, yet it held 250,000 people at its maximum. I can't remember the correct time, but I'm sure you guys can google it. Anyways, it covers a huge amount of space, and the ampitheatre is still being used today for special concerts. Apparently Tom Jones sang there recently (heh).

After that was another lame carpet demo, and none of us could work up any enthousiasm. Mostly because we were hella tired from the early morning in Patmos and the tons of walking we had to do. Jen and I left early and just wandered around the port area, and found Pigeon Island which we thought would be somemore castle ruins, but instead turned out to be a picturesque romantic couple hangout. So we kind of ended up annoying this one couple because we somehow kept getting stuck behind them, and we're talking normally and they're all kissy kissy. So they'd stop, then we pass, then we'd stop at a picture spot, then they'd pass us... etc. It amused us greatly to see them try to get rid of us.

So far, Turkish men are waaay the most aggressive in the talking/leering/honking. It's pretty annoying because they don't really want to talk to us specifically, it's almost a reflex for them. Not ONE has asked us for our name or really even tried to strike up a conversation, which is stupid. But it's really gross when you realized that some 40 year old man just said "hey sexy" when you walk by them so they can try to get you in your resturant. Meh.

Otherwise, Turkish donairs rock. That is all.
