Fresh from two great days in Minaflores and an early morning flight I arrived in Beunos Aires and randomly landed in the best, busiest, party hostel in Argentina if not the World.

Initial plans to sort out Brazilian Visa�s and head up through Iguazu Falls seem dashed by a lack of buses. Solutions were discussed with Ali and "The Wildman" over a few huge steaks. After the build up by Sammy and Emily our experience at the Brazilian Embassy was surprisingly painless and all is set for a dash to Porto Alegre for Christmas with Gunther and my "Brazilian Family".

Getting used to the Argentine lifestyle is easier said than done. Resturants refuse to open their kitchen unitl 9:30pm and clubs dont open until 2am. Add to this the phenomenon of "Steak Brain" - the complete inability to think after eating half a cow - and it all becomes a little too much. Indeed, my first night I was a victim of steak brain and crashed into a deep sleep, missing a big night out.

After a huge one last night, the plan is a tour of La Boca including the stadium of the famous football club and whatever the night holds!!!
