Brilliant day of history and travel topped off with a dusk service and playing of the Last post at the Mennin Gate in Ypres. For a weekday, not in tourist season it was quiet amazing to see atleast 3000 people at the service which has been held everyday for the last 50 years.
From there it was onto Dondemonde, with the small complication of nearly running out of fuel and Chad's questionable map work... Quincey and Sofia, a couple I met in Thailand provided as a bed and we had a few beers in the beautiful Dortemonde town square. Dortemonde is a beautiful place, guys thanks so much for your hospitality (and inspiration Quincey, Im adding learning how to fly a plane to my new years resolutions)
Today we have had an extensive, pannel beating / touch painting / buff and polishing session and I am happy to say all does not seem lost. It is now only 2 days until D-Day (Dent day on the return of our car) and there is some faint hope...

again on the map work
There was nothing wrong with the map work ... the only problem was the driver's nonchalant approach to filling the car with fuel. It was dark, the petrol light had been on for 30 kms, we were in the middle of no where!
Re: again on the map work
Now thats better Bro
The use of the word 'nonchalant' greatly adds weight to your arguement here...
