Arriving in Budapest fresh from a good nights sleeper train (is it wrong I was so happy that a 50 year old nun was kicked off at 2am at the freezing Slovakian border for passport reasons giving us a whole cabin to ourselves?) we firstly did some refreshing at the spectacular public baths (a strange mixture of overweight old guys in speedos and 10/10 generous - 9/10 fact girls). Then it was a serious discussion time to decide on either some high stakes poker or a "sure thing" pub crawl. The decision was obviously poker and in the end I think we both had more than a winning night. My third place and resulting overflowing pockets of Hungarian Florent, Hocks and his brilliant roulette recovery, endless Cat supply of free drinks and not getting home until the following day...

So yesterday the month of Hock / Cat travel was over, what an amazing month. We had pushed ourselves to travel, party and live as hard as we possibly could and indeed I think we both felt we were bordering on exhaustion with not much left to give. The days of the last month were recounted from school parties, benzo hazes, yellow submarines, bungees, jails and skydiving - Russian military style to the people we had met marines, Klingers and princesses. Personally it has been an amazing rollercoaster of a month, some of the best days and memories of my life so close to some of the hardest. I send out a massive thanks to The Hock, he was a fantastic travel partner, a brilliant mate and a top class wingman. Mate, what a brilliant month, thanks for all your support through the hard times and your ability to just keep "backing up" for all the amazing times, truely stories I will remember and recall for the rest of my life.

Today, my last in the Büd before a train for nowhere, has been a brilliant bike tour around this superb city. Bike tours are always good but when it is just you and the tour gide that is even better. The tour virtually ended up a bike-pub crawl around the major sites of the Büd, brilliant - cheers Akos.
