I write this note in recollection, with the help of my mate Hock. I can remember Saint Petersburg and the last days we were in Moscow just not very well and with no idea of the sequence of events.

After what was a bit of a downer on the last night in Moscow, I decided that a few sleeping tablets and a rest was what i needed. Now in Russia they have a different type of sleeping tablet to the ones we have in Australia. Atleast the ones I bought I think had a longer working time and hence tend to build up over a few days, especially if you are taking a couple too many.

I remember bits of Saint Petersburg, a few nights out, a great walking tour, the amazing summer palace, I think I even went on a date with a Russian girl but im pretty sure I fell asleep during it! I know it was a combination of the sleeping tablets, the beers or just not feeling overly happy but for atleast a few days there I was a touch crazy (yes I did see things coming out of walls once!) and I am truely thankful for Chris' support.

I dont think I offically recovered from my "Benzo" haze until after loosing my passport and mobile phone on the bus from St Petersberg to Tallin - I think that just made me click and realise maybe I was not in my normal state of awareness (an understatement). Either way from the momment I tracked them both down I have been a changed person - full of optimism for this trip and the future. That something good comes out of everything in life.
