After approximately 2 hours of driving through small villages/towns and a light snow flurry, we arrived at Arches National Park, just outside Moab, Utah. After popping in to the Visitor Centre and picking up a park map, we started the scenic drive. From the very beginning, it was beautiful. We had so many great rock formations to view. As it was lunch time, we found a view point and stopped for lunch at Park Avenue - a long line of sandstone formations that the early settlers thought looked like a city skyline. After lunch, Cat decided to drive as there was little traffic. Along the scenic drive, we made several photo stops and walked a few short walks out to the various arches. The scenery was lovely, especially the snow-capped mountains in the background. After making a final stop at the 'most photographed arch' , Delicate Arch, we headed out of the park, still enjoying the scenery as the sun was setting. We drove back to Moab to find somewhere to park up. We knew we wouldn't find a Walmart here, but a nice quiet street would do instead. After spending time in McDonalds using their internet, we drove around for a bit looking for a quiet street until Cat spotted another camper in the local supermarket car park. Just in case, we popped in and asked if we could park there overnight and they said yes, so we did. We found a nice quiet spot in their car park and cooked dinner. Before settling down for the evening, we decided to have a stroll around town. As it was Sunday night, not alot seemed to be happening, so we returned to Brian and watched another episode of Life and went to bed.
