2nd Oct.

Just outside Savannah, we stopped at the Visitor Centre to pick up a map
of Georgia and got given a free illuminous orange pencil, as we took a
chance and requested a map of Florida as well. Before leaving the
Visitor Centre, we checked our email and also asked if they were aware
of any free campsites. Their response was no and that Walmart's in
Georgia, don't allow camping overnight any more as the campers started
emptying their tanks down the drains in their car parks. Great! Anyway,
it was getting late and the Visitor Centre was closing, so we headed off
towards Jacksonville, Florida, stopping at a rest area further down to
cook dinner. Taking a look around we decided that this wasn't a great
area to stay, so we thought, what the hell we'll try a Walmart anyway.
We pulled off the I-95 around Brunswick, looking for a Walmart but found
a Home Depot instead who very kindly when asked said we could park up
if we wanted to. However, Walmart was just down the road, so we thought
we would take a look and hey presto! campers! There were about 3 or 4
campers parked up, so we decided to join them. Safety in numbers and so
on. We then got settled in and watched the last episode of Hotel Babylon
in that series before hitting the sack.

3rd Oct.

Up around 7.30am and after picking up a few supplies from the local supermarket, continued on towards Florida on the I-95. Just a few miles down the road we crossed into Florida and stopped at the Welcome Centre to gather information on campgrounds, theme parks, etc. After checking email, loading up with leaflets/maps and trying their freshly squeezed orange juice on offer, we got back on the I-95 heading to Kissimmee, just south of Orlando,
