Falls and Laser show that didn't happen

We arrived into Sioux falls around 11am and headed straight to Falls Park and had a look at the falls. They're not the biggest we ever seen, but they were flowing well and had some great view points. We picked up a map at the Visitor Centre of where the locations of around 50 plus statues that were dotted around the town and went for a walk to hunt them down. We walked from one end of downtown to the other looking at these amazing works of art and next to one of them was a car attached to a lever with a rope on the end. It was basically explaining the fulcrum principle by which you can lift the car due to the lever being right by the car and the rope being about 30 feet away. Basically, I lifted a car and that impressed me! After looking at most of the statues, we headed back to the van for lunch and then found a supermarket to get some supplies. Supplies bought, we then hunted round for a campsite and settled for one not far from town which was good as we wanted to go and see the Falls Laser and Sound show tonight. So we settled in and made dinner, then showered and got ready for the show. At 8.45pm we drove down to Falls Park and waited for the show to begin. Unfortunately, we sat there until 10.15pm and still nothing had started, so we and other people thought that it might have been called off for some reason. So we drove back to the campsite and settled in for the night.
8th Aug.
Got up around 8.30am, had breakfast and then took our time until 11am surfing the net and catching up on things, then checked out. We then drove round the corner to the USS South Dakota memorial, which had most of the decorated ship's guns and and other things that weren't scrapped, mocked up on the lawn in a concrete shape of her original form. From there we stocked up on a few things, then drove to the cathedral and finally had lunch in the park.
