6th Aug cont.

We drove down the highway until we found the turn off we were looking for to take us to Marion. Tucked away in farmland is the small town of Marion and the only reason we're here is that there is a free campsite with electric hook up that's not too far from our next stop, Sioux Falls in the morning. It is a little like the other site we found in Russell, Canada but this one is by a lovely creek and park and has flushing toilets. We chilled for a while watching the rest of the afternoon go by and then around 7pm made dinner. After dinner we went for a walk round the park and over a dodgy looking suspension bridge and then enjoying a lovely sunset from the comfort of our living room. Then we settled in for the night watching a film with a nice cup of tea and milk and then off to bed.

7th Aug.

As we didn't have too far to drive today, we decided to stay in bed until 9am, (which is quite late in camping terms) then after some breakfast we headed off around 10am towards Sioux Falls.
