Haircut and a left hand turn to Jasper

Once we arrived into Prince George, we stopped in the Visitor Centre to collect a sticker and find out where to get a haircut. So far most places charge $15 at a barbers for men and as at home more for women! The girls at the Visitor Centre were great, as they found us a salon that has student hairdressers that charge half price, so we got them to book us in for 12.30pm. On the way there we filled up with petrol (which was attended service) and found out that their prices were 2 cents cheaper than on the sign which was their way of avoiding a price war with other garages (so the attendant told me). We also got given 4 tokens for their jet car wash, so we drove round the back and gave Brian a good hosing down. Once that was done we drove to the hairdressers and got our hair cut. My girl was one month from completing her 10 months training and Cat's only had a month or so more but I must say they did a very good job and it cost less than half price at a very reasonable $12.85! Happy with our new do's we got back on the road, this time on Highway 16 towards Jasper.
