Where I stayed
Drydea Creek Campsite
21st June cont.
Along the way we stopped at a few view points and at Shannon Falls which is also free and also very impressive. From there we drove north and stopped just outside a place called Squamish in an RV campsite for our first night in the Canadian wilderness. We'll it's not that basic at all really, the site has the usual facilities, including electric hookup and wi-fi, so we weren't roughing it too much. We settled into our spot and arranged the van a bit better and then thought about dinner. Tonight we had hotdogs. The vans previous owner had left some wood under the bed for campfires and we decided to light one and have smores for dessert. So we drove down to the local shop to buy some marshmallows, chocolate and Grahams biscuits, (they had it all together in a nice box, ready & waiting), returned to the RV park and settled in for the night, toasting marshmallows by the fire, showering and then some Hustle and off to sleep.
22nd June.
Woke up around 9am and started the process of shifting the bed back to a sofa so that we could have breakfast. Not a bad night, our first out of the city which was fairly quiet. After breakfast we checked our email and Skyped Cat's mum and dad.
