Got up around 9.30am had a shower and went down for breakfast. We then walked to the ATM for some money. Got some water from the shops and then booked our bus to Trujillo for tonight. At 12.30pm we checked out of the room and then spent a few hours updating photos, email etc. Around 5pm we headed into town for some dinner and got double whoppers in Burger King (enjoying fast food while we still can) followed by an ice cream with brownies and caramel. Once back at the hostel we watched some TV until it was time to catch a taxi to the bus station. At 10pm we waved down a taxi and drove to the Cruz del Sur bus terminal and waded through the chaos that is the bagcheck in. With so many buses leaving at different times and some to the same place 30mins earlier than ours it was hard to find the right queue! Bang on time we boarded our bus and left the terminal and settled in to try and get some sleep. Try being the operative word as even at midnight a movie went on (in Spanish) and the steward came round with snacks and a drink. We place the snacks in our bag and then rolled over with ear plugs in and eventually dozed off.
