I was really looking forward to having a small reunion with a few good friends. I made a huge platter of my famous Spicy Tuna Sushi and Temaki. We gathered together in Jeff's place. I really missed Roma, Veve and Bong. Good thing we had a chance to catch up. Bong was especially nice. Roma is blossoming beautifully into a mom, and Veve is still as quirky as ever!

This was also a great turning point for me. I saw things and heard things that made me realize more that I am better off at the direction my life is heading right now. What I learned today is that there are people who can be so good with words and in their actions they can put up a facade to show that they are good and blameless. But underneath it all, it is still God who will reveal what is truly in a man's heart. In as much as one would like to help another, if he is completely bent on his wicked ways, then it really is up to God to set that person straight.

2 Peter 2:22 Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit," and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."

Matthew 7:15-16 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
