What I did
admired the Turkey dolls made out of recycled materials
We're celebrating Thanksgiving here in the office. Though we're here in the Philippines, we're still mindful of the holidays celebrated by our American counterparts. This week our company is hosting a Turkey-Making competition. What's the catch? The turkey doll must be made out of 90% recycled materials. Not only is this a good avenue for expressing our creativity but also a good way to recognize the importance of recycling and caring for the environment. In the end a big metal turkey made of cut-up aluminum softdrink cans and flattened bottle caps won the contest. Honestly, my favorite one is the turkey made of recycled cups, paper bags and tissue from Starbucks. I wonder how much coffee was consumed to bring this bird to life! :)
