I left Friday with only a couple of glitches--my connecting flight to Memphis was delayed 1 1/2 hours, so they connected me through Detroit, which I wanted to avoid at all costs. The unfortunate side of that was that I had to fly first class (just kidding). Wow! Did I feel pampered. Cejae told me to act as if I was rich, how do you think that went? Well, anyway, the truly unfortunate thing was that no one told Gyongyi, so she was looking for a flight from Memphis. Needless to say, I was not on that flight, but somehow in this massive Amsterdam Airport, she found me. I am now blogging from her lovely home and we have had a delicious lunch prepared by Dorina, her daughter. She has a great family and I am so glad to be here safely. I think we are going shopping in a bit. I will write more later. Gyongyi and Dorina set this blog up for me. How cool is this, Beth?

I am so excited for you. Dorina did an excellent job. This is so cool! A little news from home. Brandy and Josh had a baby boy - Colby Robert 7lbs. 8oz. Have fun honey. I love you!
Hungary
Are you going to be in Budapest? If so there is a great food hall on the Pest side.
Eat lunch there, one serving(of the best goulash I've ever eaten) can easily feed two and cheap. It's right near the river. They also sell all kinds of crafts. The Buda side is beautiful and there is a wonderful church (of course I can't remember the name), but I think it's one of the most famous. It's all in the Arts and Crafts period. St Elizabeth is the patron saint of Hungary.
So sorry you had to fly 1st class, glad the rest of the trip went smoothly.
