Here we are - 2 days in and still alive!!
Sorry about the log detail delay - internet connection dodgy in this partt of the world!
Day 1 - started with a strenuous walk along the coastline - within coooeeeee of the Isle of Man! The afternoon consisted of a big, boggy and muddy climb over Dent Hill = where certain people nearly died! Descent beautiful landscape. Remote accom = basic but very hospitable.
Day 2 - walk around the lovely Ennnerdale Lake for 7 miles then up to the Remote BLACK SAIL and a further clamber up Honnister Mountain - very diificult but amazingly inspiring and rewarding. Staying tonight in posh hotel - good food and fine wine,
