We've moved on from Koh Tao to Phan Ngan now after ten amazing days. Rich has completed his Open water and Advanced divers courses and is fully hooked! He's seen some amazing sights and had a pretty scary night dive experience but still seems to love it. I only made it as far as snorkelling, yet I managed to have a far more terrifying experience with an angry trigger fish. I managed to stray into a nesting area of said fish and as a result was stalked and eventually lunged at my this horrible big fat ugly beast! Luckily they don't bite, they just butt you with this big bone thing they have on top of their head. Not a pleasant experience! I'm a bit wary of the snorkelling scene now!

It was really sad to leave Koh Tao- we met up with a really nice aussie couple who we had lots of fun wit hbut unfortunately we were travelling in different directions. We're now on Phan Ngan- the first beach we went to wasn't great but the one we're on now- 'Bottle Beach' is stunning. It's very quiet and undeveloped- a little bit of paradise. We'll stay here a couple of days before heading to Samui.

Must go now as there's a queue forming for this the only computer on the beach!
