Lifes been pretty good lately. Lots of service, good times with the Brothers and Sisters here, and pasarados! Okay let's see, so us girls walked to a coffee place and had some amazing frappes...maybe they really weren't amazing but when you haven't had that kind of thing in awhile they seem amazing. The place was pretty cool, the tables there were awesome with the beans under the glass. We've been to a few pasarado's. Every now and then we go to one thats actually planned. Otherwise it seems like we get to a house and just make one happen. jajaja. There always fun and lots of dancing! You never seem to stop or get a break. The culture is great, everyone is so kind and fun! We are able to get fresh fruits and vegetables and yup! Some of the girls love drinking out of the coconuts so we stop sometimes out in service and get a few! or there's little comados were you can get little treats or juice or water.
Okay so Carson and I are cooking partners! I have a pictures of us cooking a curry vegetable stir fry type thing.. We didn't really know what we were doing we just through everything in together and tasted amazing! This last time we cooked we made fish tacos! YUM they were so good.
Hmmmm.
This weekend we went to Sosua with a Brother from the congregation and his parents. That was really fun. We did nothing but lay on the beach and pulled all nighters, watching the office and just acting like big kids jajaja..We were living like Kings and Queens, we stayed in the penthouse of the hotel. It was great, there was warm water the whole time you took a shower, a TV and actual beds, a big living room, balcony and swimming poooool! it was great! So a very relaxing weekend. We bOogie boarded and swam a lot. (: good times. I haven't really got to much to say...although Im very tired right now from this weekend! But it was good and refreshing.

I love seeing you smile sooooo much.
Hi Sister, Thank you so much for sharing your pics and your experiences. Im from the US and currently Serving in the Spanish Congregation. Me and my two other friends will be coming up for the month of Sept and We are searching for a kingdom hall in DR that needs help in English. I've tried to locate many different kingdom halls on google maps but cannot seem to find any. Is that normal?
A brother mentioned a kingdom hall in Puerto Plata off Francisco J Peynado # 17 but i cannot find that one or the one is Sosua at Apartamentos Benigno? Do you know how to locate them exactly, and are there english congregations there? I saw some apartments in Costombar that looks pretty nice and inexpensive, but are you familiar with the area? is it close to the hall? safe? What are some good areas to stay in?
I know you dont know me, but Im just so excited and Ive been wanting to serve in a different country for years and just wanna get as much info as i can. Thank you so much for your help!!
