Flag of Canada  , Prince Edward Island,
Tuesday, May 24, 2005

Hello trees..hello grass..hello sand...Ohh I didn't see you there, I was just using my "imagination" to "imagine" that all the things on this island are my friends. I love to use my "imagination" but not as much as i love to find new "Bossum Friends" and become "Kindred Spirits". Would you like to be my "Bossum Friend"?
--- Direct Quote, Anne Shirley (aka Anne of Green Gables)

Well incase you couldn't guess we have arrived on 'the island'. It was a long drive from Quebec City, we made a stop at the Longest covered bridge in the world which was the coolest thing EVER!!! and stayed over at Fredericton (capital of New Brunswick). Off over the ugly concrete monstrosity that is the Confederation Bridge and we were there, the land of red soil and story book sweetness. Prince Edward Island is absolutly amazing, its rugged coastlines, abundence of lighthouses and rolling terrain make it one of the most picturesqe places we have found so far in Canada. We were very excited about doing all things connected to Anne after our Bossum friend Alison introduced us to the imaginative little creature.

So we set off all pig tailed up to the nines and took Charlotte Town and Cavendish by storm. We even managed to sneak a lobster supper in - local speciality!! All blown away by the coastal beauty (almost literally on one of the beaches!!) and so happy that it was our first sunny day in about a million years!! We took a tour of Green Gables - the house that inspired L.M. Montgomery to write her famous books... Not actually the house that Anne lived in... Some of us had problems, like finding out Santa isn't real (NEITHER IS ANNE!!)

Anyways, lovely times had by all, lots of pretty pictures taken and ice cream eaten xxxx

To my dearest bossum friends
I am so sorry that i missed your call, it was beautiful. It even made me cry, well off course it did, i love you all and miss you dearly. I am glad you are enjoying Prince Edward Island, i can hardly wait to go myself. But for now i will live through your experience. So till then my kindred spirits take care and use your imagination wherever you go because you never know what the world will hold for you.

Luv your bossum friend,
Alison
